Dear Strauss Coffee People,
We are delighted to share several meaningful updates that we have achieved together in the past few months.
We successfully completed Q3 with outstanding results, presenting the highest sales and profit ever! All our BUs have achieved a great result and improved their position in the market. We officially inaugurated the Boiler in Germany - a project into which we have invested significant effort and resources over the past year. Additionally, we celebrated International Coffee Day across all our countries - a festive occasion that brought us all closer together. We’re sure you’re all curious to find out who the big winner of the contest is… all the details below! ☕️
Although we haven’t officially wrapped up 2025 yet, I want to take a moment to thank each and every one of you for your incredible contributions. As the year draws to a close, we’re truly proud of everything we’ve accomplished together!

YTD 2025 Business Results
Strauss Coffee International presents the highest sales and profit ever.
Despite the high prices and volatility of green coffee, we succeeded in achieving excellent results in all the BUs.
Also, Q3 EBIT was the best quarter ever.
Net Sales (MNIS)
Strauss Coffee International September's YTD Net Sales show 34% growth over last year, exceeding AOP by 9%.

Operating Profit
Strauss Coffee International September's YTD Operating Profit shows a 116% increase over last year, and above AOP by 79%.

In 2025 we succeeded in increasing prices in the market to mitigate a substantial green coffee price increase during the last 18 months.
All our BUs have achieved great results and also improved their position in the market (gained market share).
Thank you all for these great results – you made it happen!
Major Spent Grounds Boiler Project
A major innovation project in our German coffee factory, NDKW, went live in the third quarter of 2025, with full functionality expected in 2026.
Last month, we proudly marked the boiler inauguration ceremony with Shai Babad, CEO of Strauss Group, Hila Mukevisius, CHRO, and Strauss Coffee ELT members in attendance.
The new boiler system will utilize spent coffee grounds, which would typically be discarded as waste, converting them into energy through a process of drying and combustion.
This initiative, in which we have invested EUR 11 Million (including nearly EUR 4 Million subsidy), is anticipated to yield annual savings up to 25 gigawatt hours per year of gas consumption. The energy generated will be used in the coffee production process, thereby significantly reducing natural gas consumption. This will reduce energy usage in the factory from 36 GJ per ton to 17 GJ per ton in the coming years. It also significantly reduces water consumption, benefiting both the company and the broader environment.
We are very proud of our German team for their dedicated efforts and significant investment over the past months, carried out with a high level of professionalism, which contributed to the successful launch of the boiler! We look forward to seeing its full functionality in 2026.
Celebrating International Coffee Day
In October, we celebrated International Coffee Day across all our countries under the theme “Our People. Our Coffee. Our Moments.” The focus was on creating a warm, festive coffee atmosphere that brings people together- from photo contests and coffee tastings to fun quizzes and coffee-themed activities. We were thrilled to see the high level of engagement and participation from employees across all sites, as well as the genuine passion for coffee you demonstrated.
We’re excited to announce that, based on creativity, employee involvement, and the summary video shared, the Ukraine team won the challenge! The BU will receive a dedicated budget to host a special coffee morning event for all employees.
We were also highly impressed by the festive spirit at all sites. As a special exception, we’re happy to share that we have decided to allocate a dedicated budget for an exciting coffee-themed activity for each BU (in accordance with the number of employees).
Thank you to each and every one of you for the great passion for coffee that you bring into everything you do!
